The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey<\/a> is now available on iTunes in an exclusive extended edition for $20<\/a>, which (if you are a fan of the movie) is reason enough for excitement. But, even better than that is the discovery that you can buy the complete extended editions of The Lord of the Rings for $40 in HD<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sadly, I bought the bundle when it was $54 a couple weeks ago, but if you don’t own them yet, this is an incredible deal (especially with the advent of iCloud streaming for iTunes movies that went live recently).<\/p>\n

You can also still get the theatrical edition<\/a> of the first film in The Hobbit trilogy for $18, if you don’t think the extra 13 minutes is worth $2 (or anything).
