He spoke at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ted.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TED<\/a> (Technology, Entertainment, Design) this year, an organization whose sole purpose is to promote the spreading of ideas. The video is embedded below. He recently released a new book, which you can get more information on from his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.areasofmyexpertise.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">blog<\/a>. I highly recommend the new book, as I have the audiobook of his previous one: The Areas of My Expertise. I enjoy the audiobooks immensely, as they are read by Hodgman himself in his delightfully deadpan manner.<\/p>\n<p>Incidentally, J.J. Abrams, creator of &#8220;Lost&#8221; and &#8220;Alias&#8221; also spoke.
